What do high schools receive from Merit?

Last Updated: Jun 26, 2018 02:58PM EDT
It's easy to increase the reach of your brand by taking advantage of stakeholders in the Merit Network, including high schools. By including CEEB codes in your spreadsheet, Merit will send your students' achievements to their high school principals. This is a great way to build brand affinity with the key influencers of college-bound students.

The email delivered to high school principals has your institution's logo embedded in the email notification with a brief description of the achievement, and a link that takes the recipient to a unique Merit page for that high school. On that high school's page are the achievements from more of their alumni who are attending your school and others.

FAQs about High School Notifications:
  • The from address for these notifications is ""
  • The subject line is "Alumni Update from (school name)" or "Alumni Updates from X Colleges" for digest notifications.
  • Notifications from Merit to high schools are sent on a weekly basis.
