How to promote Merit on your Institutional Website

Last Updated: Nov 13, 2018 04:01PM EST
Merit users are very creative with how they're promoting Merit to students and stakeholders. One of the easiest ways you can familiarize your students with Merit is to add a page to your school's website that is dedicated to Merit

Click on the images below to see how each school has incorporated Merit onto their website:

West Kentucky Community and Technical College                                              Iowa State University

Wilkes University                                                                                     Siena College

        Berea College                                                                            University of Jamestown

Georgia Southwestern State University                                                                SUNY Oneonta

Nearly all of highest-performing institutions have a page on their .edu website dedicated to Merit and describing its value. This is a great place to also embed your Merit video

While creating your video, please adhere to our style guidelines outlined on our Marketing Collateral page.

Adding a Merit icon to your site

To help direct traffic to your school's Merit page, you should add a Merit icon to the social media icons section of your website. Here are some examples of what this icon looks like in institutional website headers or footers:

You can find downloadable .png files that you can use for these icons on our Collateral page.
