More and more recognition from government representatives every day...
Since we've launched the government module for Merit, government representatives have sent over 44,000 comments to students congratulating them on their success.
We've redesigned the Government tab of the Network section in Merit to show you just how great they are.
To see the comments for your students, simply click on "comments" in the Network menu.

A new look for engagement reports, with new reporting
- See the government comments specific to each achievement
- High school distribution information now available
Your engagement reports are designed to tell you where and when your stories were distributed to the stakeholders in your Merit network, and provide some insight on what happened next. We've upgraded the report with a new streamlined look, and added high school distribution information by popular request.

Turn your Merit AI discoveries into achievements, OR press releases
We've been hearing great things about your usage of Merit AI. It just works! If you've upgraded your account to include Newsroom, you can now turn stories discovered by Merit AI into press releases.
Simply click the "create press release" button to turn your Merit A.I. discovery into a press release. Merit will automatically scan the story for students at your institution, and add the stories to each student's Merit page.
Merit now identifies students in your Newsroom press releases
We've added an exciting new feature to Newsroom. Merit will now automatically scan the press releases you publish using Newsroom, to see if they mention students at your institution.
If it finds a match, you'll see a "Students in the Story" section added to the sidebar on the Preview Press Release step.
To select or deselect the student, simply click the red X or the green checkmark.
In the News
If the student is selected, then they will have a “In the News” section added to their Merit page where the story appears.
On your press release news feed, the students that are mentioned are shown in thumbnails under the press release card:
The cards for students are also shown on the press release page itself:
A new email to students, parents, and followers is sent when a student is mentioned in a press release. There is also an iOs notification for app users.
