Engagement Analytics

The engagement page in Merit gives you visibility, insight, and analysis into how students and their audiences engage with the content you create. To see this information, click on the Students tab and then on Engagement

The engagement page is broken up into separate tabs for student activity and social media. You can navigate between the two tabs using the buttons in the top right corner of your screen.

More clarification about Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn impressions

  • To estimate a total number of Facebook impressions, Merit multiplies the number of likes/shares/comments by the median number of Facebook friends.
  • To determine the number of Twitter and LinkedIn impressions, Merit multiplies the number of times your stories were shared with the number of followers for each Twitter account or the number of connections for each LinkedIn account.
  • Merit combines the above Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn impressions to provide an estimated total Impressions number.
