Correct an Achievement

Here you will learn how to make corrections to a previously published achievement. This feature will allow you to fix a mistake that affected every student's achievement (for example, a typo, incorrect date or qualification).

Please note that If you need to add students AND correct your achievement, you should add the students first and then return to this workflow to make corrections. 

Start by locating the achievement on the Achievements tab and choose the Correction option:

This will immediately take you into Merit's achievement workflow and allow you to make any necessary changes to your title and summary, online student stories, and individual and group press releases. You can also change your achievement's topic and semester, upload new photos, or select a new landing page:

If you need to alert the media about the changes to your story, scroll down to the Resend to the media section. There you will want to check the Yes, resend stories to the media box:

You'll then want to add a note to the media explaining the corrections. This note will appear at the top of your press release. We recommend using it to explain the difference between the original press release and this new corrected one:
