Here you will learn how to remove a student who was erroneously included in a previously published achievement. This feature will automatically delete the student's online story.
Start by looking up the student on the Students tab. Use the Search box to locate the student and then click on their card:
You will then see an overview of the student's Merit page, including a list of all of their achievements and activities. Click on the title of the achievement you'd like to remove:
This will open up a lightbox with the text of their individual online story and a list of their relevant contacts in Merit:
If you plan to notify the media, take note of the newspapers listed on the right side of this page before going any further. Merit does not automatically alert newspapers when students are removed from a story. Instead, you will want to reach out to each of them directly at the email addresses listed there.
Click the Delete Story button to remove their individual story from Merit:
