Press releases are at their best when they're accompanied by images. Photos and videos are all included as links in emailed press releases, and they also appear online in your Merit Newsroom and when the story is shared on social media.
Here's a guide for image sizes at this time:
Supported formats: JPG and PNG
Maximum file size: Up to 5MB
Recommended aspect ratio: Typically, a 2:1 aspect ratio will work best, but 3:2 and 1:1 may also work
Minimum Size: 600w x 335h pixels
Recommended size: 1200w x 630h
Recommended resolution: 72 dpi (dots per inch) or greater
Pro Tip: Try to avoid portrait-style images if possible. Landscape images fare much better online and are less likely to be resized.
