You can add tags to your media mentions to organize and group them within your Mentions account. These tags will all be visible when viewing your Mentions Inbox:
Editing Tags
While viewing your Mentions Inbox, click on the Edit link beside Tags (pictured above) to view all of your tags and make any necessary changes:
Adding Tags
You can add tags to your Mentions discoveries through multiple methods. While viewing your Mentions Inbox, mouseover any discovery and select the Tag icon:
This will open up a drop-down window allowing you to check any box to add one of your saved tags to this mention or create a new tag by typing it into the text box:
You can also tag your mentions in bulk using the checkboxes to the left. Checking a box will display some bulk options available to you, including the option to tag all of your selected stories at once:
At any point, you can click on a mention to see the full story. While viewing the mention, you will see a Tag option in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. Click the button to add an existing tag or create a new one:
Your Newsfeed Tag
In addition to your regular saved tags, Merit will automatically generate a Newsfeed tag for you. You will see it as a selectable option when adding tags to any mention. This tag allows you to add your most important Mentions discovered by Merit to a shareable feed ,which can be added to your institutional website by a member of your team.
