Any mention discovered through Merit AI can be easily posted to students' Merit pages. This will add a link to the story to the student's page and notify both the student and their parents.
To get started, click on a Merit AI discovery to view more information about the story. This will display a summary of the story and a list of matching Merit students:
Click Ignore to remove this student from the discovery and prevent an alert from showing up on their page.
Note: Merit AI does not account for students' nicknames. For example, if the student was identified as Dave in your mention/Merit AI discovery, but their Merit account uses David, Merit will not automatically identify the student.
Click the Post to Merit Page button at the bottom of the discovery:
This will immediately post the story to the matching students' pages. You will see a banner across the top of your screen alerting you to these additions:
The students and their parents will receive an email alert from you letting them know that content has been added to their page. Here's an example of the email to the student:
