Every achievement that you publish can be shared with students' local government officials. They will receive a weekly email digest at the end of each week if students from their district were recognized through Merit. These email digests will come from government@meritpages.com.
Weekly Email Digests
The weekly emails that local senators and representatives receive will prompt them to log into their own personal Merit account and congratulate your students from their district. Here's an example of an email sent to a government representative:Congratulating Students
From inside their Merit accounts, government representatives can view stories about all of the students from their district. They can also use Merit to send congratulatory messages to students:
Students will receive an email notification if a senator or representative congratulates them. They can then choose to keep these notices private or share them on their Merit page:
