When getting started with Merit, we highly recommend having your school's IT department whitelist the IP addresses that Merit uses when sending emails to your students. Whitelisting will help ensure the deliverability of your achievements to students.
The IP addresses you should whitelist are:
- 192.254.119.180
- 167.89.2.174
- 192.254.121.231
If you instead need to whitelist by domain, please add "email.meritpages.com" and "meritpages.com" as safe senders.
To find these IP addresses, visit the General section under the Settings tab and scroll down to the Whitelist Our IP Address block:
Pro Tip: If an achievement contains a large number of students, some servers may block (or throttle) these email deliveries. To avoid throttling, Merit will attempt to deliver your emails to students in smaller batches. Any emails that were initially blocked will be retried at a later time. Ask your IT team to ensure there is no limit on the number of emails coming from Merit's IP address.
