Email and Social Media Branding

Your school's logos and brand can appear alongside any achievements you send. To configure these images, you will want to go to the Branding section under the Settings tab. 

There you can add images that will regularly appear in your emails to students and parents, and on social media posts.

Email Logo

To upload your logo, click the Select Logo Image button under the Email Logo block. The logo you upload will be added to the achievement email your students and parents receive:

Default Social Media Image

Choose an image or logo that will be used when a story shared on social media either doesn't contain an image or the images included in it do not meet the platform's size requirements. To upload your default logo, click the Select Social Media Image button under the Default Social Media Image block and locate the file on your computer:

Note: You can click Preview to see how the image will appear on a small social media post or Remove to delete the image and upload a new one.

 

Image Priority

When your achievements and press releases are shared on social media, Merit will attempt to display the images associated with the story in the following order: 

First choice: The photos/images included with your achievement

Second choice: Your saved default social media image 
Third choice: The achievement badge/image (if applicable)
Fourth choice: Your school's saved email logo
Fifth choice: Merit's corporate logo (Blue "M" Star image)

Social Media URLs

Connect your Merit page to your institution's social media channels by entering the URLs in the designated fields in the Social Media URLs block. These links will appear on your institution's Merit page. Click Update after adding your links:
