An Introduction to Merit
An introduction explaining to students the purpose of their newly created Merit page:
Merit University uses Merit Pages to disseminate student news such as graduation and Dean's list announcements, awards and fellowships, internship placements, and more. All of these achievements will be added to Merit University's Merit Page - and Merit has created a page for you, too. |
| Your individual Merit page is built for you by Merit University and acts as a personal newsroom for your academic career, showcasing your achievements. Accomplishments such as academic awards, research projects, study abroad, theatre and dance performances and graduation are added to your page directly by the MU Communications Office. |
| Via a Merit Page that we have created specifically for you, we will post news about your achievements such as making the Deans' or President's list, participating in community outreach, or collaborating with fellow students on a life-changing research project. |
| In addition to the Merit University website and Facebook and Twitter feeds, your MU-verified achievements will appear on https://mu.meritpages.com as well as your own personal Merit page—that we’ve already created for you! You’ll be able to share your successes with your family and friends via your social media accounts: Dean’s List, Commencement, University scholarships or awards, internships, study abroad, athletic accomplishments and much more. |
Merit University uses a strategic partnership with Merit Pages to share your successes. We have already created a "Merit Page" that is exclusively yours. It is where we will publish MU-verified stories about your successes like making the Dean's or President's list, participating in arts or athletics, and earning scholarships, internships or academic awards. |
All Merit University students have their own personal Merit page. Milestones in your journey at MU will be collected here.
We’ve already created a personalized Merit page for you. Going forward, we will automatically send updates to it about your awards, honors, milestones, and other special events deserving recognition. You can add to it as well.
| Your Merit page will be automatically updated when you are named to honors lists, win awards, study abroad, and more. |
These achievements will appear on https://mu.meritpages.com. They will showcase your success -- such as making the Dean’s List, receiving a College award, participating in various activities, landing an internship and studying abroad.
Merit allows us to publish stories about your accomplishments.
